KAMUNTING INCINERATION PLANT
FMS owns and operates a RM12 million clinical waste incineration plant in Taiping, Perak. The regional plant is intended to serve the Government hospitals and other private institutions  in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

The incinerator which is of a rotary kiln type, operates with a fully-automated control system. It has a capacity to incinerate 350kg/hour on a 24-hour basis, 6 days a week at a temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius. This high temperature ensures that the wastes are completely burned and that all active particles are reduced to inert ash.
